First day of a two-day getaway with daughter #2 and one of her friends. I made it out at 8:00 AM; they followed a mere three hours later.

Fresh snow, finally, on our last day!

Nephew and I tackled Whistler Bowl in the powder.

I got out early enough (alone) to lay some early tracks on the Harmony Piste.

Daughter and nephew joined me after lunch, and we hit both Whistler and Blackcomb thanks to the Peak-2-Peak Gondola.

Nephew, daughter, and I checked out Seventh Heaven and Horstman Glacier.

Friends and friends’ relatives joined us for a foggy foray.

My nephew joined us for most of the week. He’d mountain biked at Whistler, but had never been on the snow here.

Back at Whistler Blackcomb! I started the day laddering up (and then climbing up) to Blackcomb Glacier, which I had missed on the trip here a few years ago.

The week started out pretty crowded as Monday was a national holiday in Canada — a new one: Family Day.
